Okay, I just made the second exam. One problem with 3 parts ... one truss, five members. Be able to handle thermal and structural loads. My solution is 10 pages long, but I write fairly spread out (and big compared to some). You might want to bring an energy drink or two, and/or food, but if you bring food - I get some. I think if you know virtual work, you will survive, if you can last (all three parts).
I will probably NOT be in my office tomorrow morning, except briefly ... (but my solution notebook will be).
